How long are travel Rehab RN assignments and can they be extended?

The length depends on facility needs and seasonal demand, but most travel assignments are 13 weeks long. However, it can range from 8 to 26 weeks (or even longer)And, iyou love your assignment and the facility agrees, extending is often an option. When the time is right during your assignment, your recruiter will walk you through all the options for what’s next. 

Do travel Rehab RN jobs cover housing?

Yes! Is there a minimum per diem shift requirement?

You’ll need to provide at least four days of availability each month for every facility where you’re cleared to work. If circumstances prevent you from meeting this requirement, we get it  just give our staffing team a heads up. 

How quickly can I start working per diem with Aya, and what are the steps?

Aya’s per diem compliance process typically takes 1-3 weeks, but may vary depending on clinician commitment and preparedness as well as facility-specific requirements. First, you’ll connect with a recruiter and complete your application, which will be submitted to the facility for approval. Once approved, your Aya credentialing specialist will reach out to review compliance items. From there, you’ll prepare and submit your compliance documentation and complete any required lab work. Then, you’re ready to go! You’ll receive information on how to download and use the Shifts app to book shifts, and you’ll be scheduled for orientation if your facility requires it.   

Can I work per diem while holding a staff or travel Rehab RN job?

Absolutely. Many clinicians pick up per diem shifts while working a travel assignment or permanent job. It’s a great way to supplement your income!
