Cindy is nominated for a DAISY Award

A patient’s family member nominated Cindy for a DAISY Award for her above-and-beyond care!

The family member wrote, “Cindy was the light at the end of a long and difficult hospital stay. You can see the utmost excellence in her experience and skills; her compassion for human beings and her love and light for her colleagues, patients and their families. She introduced herself with a smile and positive demeanor and strove for excellence and professionalism in all her job skills. She gave my husband the utmost respect, making him feel she had his best interests in mind. Explaining procedures, medicines and protocols, she was never once demeaning. Her contagious smile, confidence and compassionate heart made my husband feel safe, valued and unafraid to ask questions. Cindy makes this world and hospital a better place.
