Amanda receives a DAISY Award nomination

A patient’s family member nominated Amanda for a DAISY Award for the touching care she provided.

The family member wrote, “Amanda gave my mom extraordinary care in an unfortunate circumstance. She shared the story of her own hospitalization and gave my mom hope and a positive outlook. She went out of her way to bring my mom breakfast when we couldn’t get to the cafeteria in time for her to eat. My mom felt so safe in her care and truly felt like she was meant to be her nurse at that time.”
