Tina receives a DAISY Award nomination

A colleague nominated Tina for a DAISY Award for her willingness to help patients beyond her unit.

The colleague wrote, “I am an NP in neurosurgery and had a patient with severe bleeding after removal of a drain. Tina dropped everything and assisted with the quick clot to ensure the bleeding stopped. This happened outside of Tina’s unit, and she was willing to quickly go the distance to help! She is always willing to assist others and always has a smile on her face.”
