Emily received a DAISY Award nomination

A fellow nurse nominated Emily for a DAISY Award for going above and beyond to make her patients comfortable.

The nurse wrote, “As a nurse working beside Emily, I have noticed time and time again how she goes above and beyond for her patients. One time, one of her patients was sensitive to light and preferred a dark environment for sleep. I noticed Emily crawling on the ground to tape up the lights underneath the bed. She even applied blackout curtains to all the windows to promote adequate sleep for her patient.”
