Jamie is given a DAISY Award

Jamie received a DAISY Award! A patient nominated her for going beyond the call of duty to make her comfortable.

The patient wrote, “We are so privileged to have such a great nurse caring for us. Jamie is a blessing. She’s genuinely sincere about caring for others. I loved her and felt 100% comfortable with her, like a sister I never had. She could tell right away I was tired and going through an emotional time. She boosted me up and shared our interest in similar crafts. We hit it off. Since I didn’t have glasses with me, she went out and got an extra pair for me to use throughout my stay and take home with me. Her compassion, kindness and dedication to her job are above and beyond. I will never forget Jamie! She is truly a gem and deserves the highest recognition. Thank you!”
