Shatoria receives DAISY Award nomination

Shatoria received a DAISY Award nomination and a shout-out from unit leadership in the same week!

For the nomination, a patient’s family member wrote, “Shatoria is a thorough and detailed nurse with a very nice personality. She had a motherly concern for my mom, and I’m sure for all of her patients too. I’m glad she is a part of the team. The way she treated my family made a difference.”

The unit leader also said, “It’s such a pleasure having Shatoria on my unit caring for the patients here. She makes my job so much easier because she always strives to do the right thing for the patients she serves, her fellow co-workers, physicians and other ancillary staff. She is truly amazing not only for what she does but for who she is. She has a heart of gold, and we are all blessed to have her here.”
