Kimberly is nominated for a DAISY Award

Kimberly received a DAISY Award nomination during her recent assignment.

One patient wrote, “Nurse Kim is an outstanding nurse. She goes above and beyond to ensure her patients are taken care of. When I entered the hospital, my hair was more than a mess. From being in different hospitals over the past several weeks, my hair had become a mass of tangles as I’d never had before. I seriously thought I was going to have to cut it off. Nurse Kim brought me a conditioner and a good brush, and the tangles were gone. I was amazed! Because of her, I got to keep my long hair. She always goes out of her way to make others feel good.”

Another individual said, “Kim goes above and beyond to be kind and helpful to her patients. She does nice things like setting timers to turn off the IV alarm before it wakes you up when you’re sleeping. That kindness goes a very long way when you don’t feel good. She is a huge asset to her profession. Thank you for your kindness, Kim!”
