Aya Traveler Erin Nominated for a DAISY Award

May 14, 2018 | Clinician Stories

Our traveler, Erin, just completed her first travel assignment with Aya in Yuma, AZ working in the medical-surgical and telemetry units. While she was there, she made such an impression on the facility and the patients she assisted that she was nominated for a DAISY award! Being nominated for a DAISY award is a huge honor as a nurse, but it is truly amazing that Erin was able to make such a lasting, powerful impact on her patients during her first travel assignment!

In her nomination, one of her patients wrote:

This young lady has more compassion in her little finger than most people have in their bodies. Erin went above and beyond her duties with me. Giving me a shower, making sure I was okay. She checks in the room just to make sure her patients are okay. She is the best nurse I’ve ever had. Always a smile and a positive attitude. Thank you, Erin!

We appreciate all of your hard work, Erin! Aya is lucky to work with such a talented, dedicated and compassionate nurse. We can’t wait to see where you go next!
