South Carolina Hospital Association Resource Pool
Keeping South Carolina’s clinicians working for South Carolina’s patients
The COVID-19 crisis is putting a strain on the healthcare delivery network in South Carolina. Not just due to the increase in COVID-19 patients needing care, but because other services are being cancelled in various service sites such as hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and physician practices. These services may have been cancelled to increase capacity for COVID-19 patients or prevent the potential spread of COVID-19. Regardless of the reason, some hospitals are desperate for staff while others do not have the volume to continue their current staffing levels leaving qualified clinicians out of work.
The South Carolina Hospital Association Resource Pool, powered by Aya Healthcare, will help match qualified furloughed clinicians with facilities that need additional local staffing for short-term temporary assignments.
