I know experiences with travel agencies differ, and a lot of those differences depend on the recruiter. My recruiter with Aya, Jason Guthrie, substantially outshines other recruiters across the board no matter their affiliation. Working with Aya can be difficult, but Jason made it smooth, efficient, and worthwhile through his attention to detail and his quick response time. He is also just an all around nice guy and super easy to work with. I am very grateful to him and have no plans to work with any other recruiter at Aya for as long as I travel with them.
I have been working for Aya is September 2023 until now (March 2024). And I had the best recruiter Jason Guthrie. When I first started, he quickly got me into Vascular tech position in Albuquerque, NM. So fast! I couldn't believe it! Automatically, making me feel like, a true hot commodity. Giving me the confidence I needed. To continue to do travel ultrasound. I've worked with other recruiters. But I only felt safe and informed with Jason, like he really cared. He explained things and repeated them without judgment. Aya has been a great experience due to the fact that I had Jason has my recruiter.
Aya sets the bar with healthcare traveling companies. I Am daily impressed with their professionalism, compassion and knowledge of the field and their workers. I have been so happy since becoming a traveler under them! 😊 #StephDistheBest! #TaraDistheBest5 years later and I’m still apart of such an amazing company and group 💕
First time travel nurse and I needed someone to walk me through this stressful period prior to getting my first contract. My recruiter, ROBERT JOHNSON, has been soo communicative and responsive throughout this whole period! He explained the process and answered all of my many questions, definitely recommend him to all travel nurses looking for someone that is really going to advocate for them!
I’m a new travel nurse and I honestly don’t have enough good things to say about my recruiter Katie. She was very dedicated and accommodating throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond when it came to explaining contracts as well as what the process would be like. If it wasn’t for her I don’t think I would’ve started traveling and now I love it! If you’re a nurse looking for a change I’d recommend trying out traveling but overall I’d recommend it while working with Katie!
My recruiter, Jared Woolworth, has simply been incredible. I was nervous to make the switch to travel nursing but Jared has made my experience stress free and enjoyable. His expertise and great communication skills have ensured that I have been satisfied with every assignment so far. I am now totally confident with this lifestyle and I owe much of that change to Jared’s hard work and patience. Overall, my travel nursing experience with Aya has been a 10/10 and Jared is without a doubt the reason why.
BRIAN ROBERTS IS THE BEST RECRUITER HANDS DOWN. When if first started my travel journey I didn’t have the best experience with my first recruiter. Didn’t get back with me, never listened to me, didn’t seem to care about my thoughts or concerns, and NVEE FOUGHT FOR ME. But not with brain. He is a golden light. He is always here for me no matter what. I can even big him with this that don’t even apply to him but he doesn’t mind helping me. He is always there, listens to what I have to say, and FIGHTS FOR ME!!! Finds me the best contracts for me and always goes above and beyond. Truly blessed to have him and my recruiter and working with aya has been a blessing.
Megan Rozas is the recruiter I’ve been working with. She is knowledgeable, proactive, friendly, and hardworking. Sometimes finding a travel assignment can be difficult but Megan’s consideration and persistence make this experience so much better! I highly recommend travel nursing with Aya!
Working for Aya Healthcare has been nothing short of a terrific experience, from the start. Everyone at Aya has been exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind.Ali Zane, my Senior Recruiter, has been there from the beginning to guide me through the process as a new travel-nurse. Her experience and tutelage has been integral in helping me understand the business process and making informed decisions when choosing travel assignments and negotiating contracts, as well as, being a strong resource and advocate towards my needs and goals as a nurse. Ali always makes a point of making herself available and checks in with me at least once a week. This in particular has always impressed me. Ali has always been very personable. Being treated like a person first and not as a cog in the wheel of a business model, has been profound for me. I've never been made to feel so important anywhere else!Although Aya is not local to me, I've never felt estranged from my team.Sarah Rosen, Ali's Sr. Recruiter Assistant, is very involved in the daily operations, and is another point of contact, should I have questions or needs.Caetano Santos, is my Payroll Representative. She checks in with me weekly as well, to verify my timecard and make any necessary financial adjustments.Jessica Evans, is my Experience Specialist. Her role has been helping me with supplementing my assignment experience. Such as, assisting me with CEU's, certifications, insurance benefits, and licensing, to name just a few.I'm certain there are many more people and much more things that go on behind the scenes that cater towards making my employment with Aya Healthcare extraordinary. And that's part of the reason why I love Aya Healthcare. They do the bulk of the heavy lifting, so that I can focus on what I do, being a nurse.Everyone on my team has played a necessary and vital role in ensuring my success. And I say, MY team, because I've never felt like I was working for someone else. The people on my team have had one goal in mind from the beginning, ensuring MY success. I simply could not ask for anything more from a company or group of individuals.I've had conversations with other nurse-travelers and have naturally compared experiences. Most are envious with how well I've been taken care of. The rest simply know this to be the common practice with employment through Aya Healthcare, because they contract both local and distant assignments. Facilities know what to expect when they contract with Aya Healthcare.I CANNOT thank Aya Healthcare, and in particular, my team members, Ali Zane, Sarah Rosen, Caetano Santos, and Jessica Evans enough, for their combined efforts in ensuring my success. Working with Aya Healthcare and these team members has sincerely been one of the best professional decisions that I have ever made!
I am having a fantastic experience working for Aya so far. Good pay and great benefits, they are an organized company with systems in place that make the housekeeping side of travel nursing manageable. My recruiter, Antasia Lyons, is very personable and trustworthy in both her words and her actions. Having a reliable resource like her as given me the support and guidance I needed to start a travel nurse career.
Amanda Piela is the most diligent and kind recruiter I’ve ever worked with! She made my dreams possible with living in Colorado and I’m happy to call her a recruiter and a friend. When I needed an assignment, she would work tirelessly to find one that fit my needs. As soon as something popped up, she notified me right away. When I got my assignments, she would check in and see if I needed anything and would address my needs right away. She just goes above and beyond! Any travel nurse would be in great hands working with her!
I have worked with Jason Guthrie for quite a while trying to find a good contract close to home. Jason has gone far above and beyond his duties to fulfill that promise. Jason works tirelessly and with so much effort to make sure that you can get the best location, and is always within an arms reach to help answer any questions asked and is there 100% step of the way to get where you need to be. I HIGHLY recommend Jason as a recruiter and not only that, but as a close contact because he is there for you in business and in best interest with what he does. If you need anyone at aya. Go with Jason G!
