Travel Nurse Wanderlust Fulfilled in Washington

August 3, 2018 | Clinician Stories

Washington is full of natural wonders! The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest is just one of many outdoor gems that Aya travel RN Taylor has come across during her time in The Evergreen State. An adventurous spirit, Taylor spent this summer doing kayaking, hiking, backpacking and tubing! She tells us that the lush scenery never gets old and says, “Seeing Rainier towering over the city in the distance is just a reminder that you can enjoy city living but have a mountain escape not too far away.”

The travel nurse life fits Taylor’s personality perfectly. She loves that, in her words, “I’ve met so many likeminded people that are up to seize opportunities of exploration.” Even though she feels like she’s always on vacation, it’s not only Taylor’s travel horizons that have expanded, her clinical skills are growing as well. She’s learned that she can handle, as she puts it, “any tough clinical situation thrown at me.” From the outdoors to the ICU, Taylor is in her element.
