Get to Know the Aya Contracts Team!
Our contracts team’s responsibilities include creating, reviewing and editing contracts for clinician travel assignments. They work closely with our recruiting teams to make sure that our travelers receive their contract in a timely manner and that all details are accurate!
They also ensure that the contract data for our internal billing and payroll departments is set up correctly for each traveler. They strive to provide each clinician with a contract that makes them feel confident and excited for their upcoming travel adventure.

How would you describe your management style and what do you enjoy most about working with your team?
A good leader gives clear direction, is engaged, supportive and encourages others to do their best work. They are always available to jump in and offer feedback, guidance and help when needed. I really try my best to make this my management style. It’s important to adjust my style to meet the needs of the different people I’m managing. My main goal is making sure my team members are happy and know that I support them!
What I enjoy most about this team is the collaboration within our team and with other departments. For the most part we work individually, but when it comes to problem-solving and providing training to new team employees, everyone gets involved and is ready to help!

How would you describe your Aya experience on the contracts team thus far?
My experience has been a very positive one so far! Every member on the team embodies the spirit of a team player – always willing to help each other out, driven by not only individual success but also the success of everyone around them. It’s refreshing to be in an environment where everyone works hard, takes their job seriously and feels valued. Aya knows how to show employees that they’re appreciated, and it is evident in our attitude and office culture.

What are some of the biggest goals that the contracts team is working towards?
Our team strives to improve the contract process for our recruiters and nurses. We continually ask ourselves, “How can we make this better?” Last year, a new system was rolled out that allows us to draft contracts more efficiently. We also offer training sessions to help recruiters understand exactly what we need to process contracts. Our goal is to make sure all departments have the information they need so our nurses receive their contracts in a timely fashion. This year, we are working to fine-tune our new system and we will offer more training sessions on a variety of contracts-related topics.
Our teams are expanding at Aya Healthcare — and that includes our contracts team! If you love to streamline processes, collaborate with team members and find solutions, take a look at our current contracts openings.
