Aya Travel Nurse Visits New Zealand
Many Aya travel nurses love to go on trips abroad while they’re between assignments, and we love to see the photos! Megan recently spent an entire month exploring beautiful New Zealand. An avid hiker, she ventured through countless trails. She woke up at 3:00 am to hike Roy’s Peak and catch the gorgeous sunrise. Megan says that climbing the 5,000 feet was challenging, but the views were definitely worth it. She also hit Tongariro Alpine Crossing Track, the most popular day hike in New Zealand. Most of the track takes you through raw volcanic terrain and there are currently three highly active volcanoes along the route!
Megan says that the more she gets to travel, the more she continues to grow as a person – and she’s not stopping here. Even as she began her journey back to the U.S., Megan planned her next adventures. She just started an assignment in Boston and then plans to head to St. Louis. We look forward to seeing many more epic photos from her travels both on assignment and abroad!
