Aya Travel Nurse Plans to See All 50 States Before He Turns 50!

Kevin asserts, “The work life balance of a travel nurse is whatever you want it to be.” He loves having a three-day work week so he can spend his days off exploring. On his current assignment with Aya, Kevin was thrilled to have a full week off. And he used that time wisely…by traveling to Ireland! Korea, New Zealand, Australia and Taiwan are all on his bucket list as well. He’d like to hit each country within the next two years and has big plans to explore the states. As he puts it, “I want to visit all 50 states before I’m 50!”

Kevin is currently enrolled in an NP program and will continue living the travel nurse life after he graduates. “I’m just having so much fun I don’t want to stop,” he says. The uprooted lifestyle can make it difficult to plan things in advance, but Kevin believes that going with the flow is what travel nursing is all about. He affirms, “That’s part of the fun of travel nursing, it’s difficult to plan too far ahead but you end up in such fun amazing spots and it’s totally worth it!”
