Aya Travel Nurse Enjoys Mini Vacations Every Week

Emy started her travel nursing adventure with Aya in August 2016 and has landed exciting opportunities in several major cities including Dallas, San Diego, Seattle and now Los Angeles! She loves being on the West Coast where she can relax on beautiful beaches, hike national parks, explore deserts and drive along the coastline. While Emy is in LA she has big plans. She’s all set to visit Joshua Tree, the Temecula wineries and cruise California State Route 1!

Emy believes, “Travel nursing is one of the most beautiful careers in that it allows you the freedom to work and be on vacation at the same time.” When you work three days a week, every assignment provides plenty of opportunities to discover new places and Emy wouldn’t change a thing when it comes to her flexible schedule. She says, “with that many days off, you have a mini vacation every week!”

Emy always makes sure she fits in some “me” time to make her heart happy. “First and foremost,” she declares, “I take care of myself.” The high pay that comes with travel nursing allows her to treat herself to all the manicures, facials and massages that a hard-working nurse deserves! Her advice to other RNs? “Make sure you are taken care of to be able to take care of others.”
